Facebook a life sentence

Joining a social networking site like Facebook would normally be a great experience and most people, who have signed up and filled in their profiles have been very pleased with the results, by meeting new and old friends, some even use it for business.

But changes in the way Facebook is run have made some members rethink their membership and some have even decided to delete their profiles and leave Facebook forever and this is where some people have found a few problems.

Although a member can leave their personal data contained on the company’s servers remains there forever or so it would seem. This process is causing many people some distress to think that once you have signed up to something your information will there for life and in some cases beyond. This has spawned a new industry which specialises in deleting FaceBook accounts.
