Top Pirate flees the authorities

Geremi Adam is the worlds top pirate for making copies of films, he would go under the name of Adam aka “maVen” has disappeared off the face of the earth he has been linked with pirating many films, from ‘The Bourne Supremacy’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ through to ‘Spongebob Squarepants’ to name but a few. The pirated copies of films are said to be the best around, so he is a perfectionist.

Even the FBI was involved on his case, who finally handed over the paperwork that would be enough to secure a conviction, to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who arrested him outside a cinema just after he had made a copy of another film, his equipment was confiscated and he was bailed to appear in court at the end of January 2008.

However with a $25,000 fine and a possible six months in prison, he has apparently fled to hills and has not been seen. But there is a saying that the Mounties always get their man and they have a warrant to bring him back, at which time he will go straight to court and no doubt into trouble with the authorities.
