Yahoo slims down design team

Despite being well over valued by Microsoft, it still appears that the company is finding it tough, so much so that they have apparently fired the whole of the design team. Its not as if they had nothing to do, they were supposed to be working on the next generation design ideas.

But as the company is losing money to the extent that they are, the monthly operating costs can be crippling and for every day the company continues as it is the loses mount and reflect on the management of the company.

Yahoo have not made any comments as of yet, but will need to clarify the situation rather than later. Although they are in talks with AOL to try and prevent Microsoft from snapping the company up, and who owns a piece of AOL? Some company called Google, search has never been so interesting.
