The web under attack!

Its been a couple of weeks since the underwater cable problems that has effected the middle and far eastern regions of the world, the loss of these cables initially caused severe problems for the regions but since the traffic has been redirected the network is slow and in some cases on and off occasionally.

These cables were responsible for some heavy traffic and without them the world economy could be put at risk, and yet there is still no viable explanation for the events.

Ships have been dispatched to the areas in order to repair and actually see what caused the problems in the first place; their reports indicate that the cables were not damaged by accident or any natural event. But since this has happened surely the world requires a more robust system of communication, as literally anyone could simply cut a cable and cause havoc.
