FBI gets access to phone network
It is everyone’s worst nightmare the thought of some faceless person listening in on their conversations, checking their emails or websites that have been visited, reading their text messages and yet it would appear that this can and has been done and there is no need for wire tapping or anything as they will be getting help from the actual phone company themselves.
This news is coming out of the US where a computer security analyst has spilled the beans on what can only be described as a purpose built backdoor into the phone operators network through which a third party could easily and without any need for sophisticated equipment gain access to the network and then onto individual numbers.
This opens up a new wave of monitoring which will mean that it makes no difference what you are doing there is always the possibility that for some reason someone may be listening in on your conversations, you may not have done anything wrong just aroused a bit of attention through emails or other messages.
