From fool to fame, again!
What started off as a great April Fools stunt has virtually almost single handily re-launched the flagging career of someone who was at one time one the hottest properties in the UK music industry.
On April Fools day this year visitors to YouTube and other sites who clicked the featured videos link, were magically transported to a video by Rick Astley, it was his most popular tune “Never gonna give you up” in fact this hoax took off so much that the six of so videos on YouTube by the eighties star have been visited by over twenty five million people.
However it now seems that there is a come back on the cards, yes Rick Astley is going to be hitting the road very soon with some of the other eighties stars who have fallen off of the radar over the years. So for someone who was a bit cynical may think that it was a great publicity stunt!
