Domain names running out

What would happen if the internet ran out of domain names?

If you think that this is never going to happen, then you could be wrong. Current estimates figure that by the year 2011 there will be no new domain names for sale, which means for some people and indeed businesses something of a dilemma.

There will come a point where the whole internet has been filled up with as many domains as it could possibly take, but could there another way of securing a place on the web?

But before anything is done, there should some care in how an expansion of the internet is taking place, many companies and governments have already migrated to IP Network which could allow an unlimited amount domains, this is one possibility.
