Computer mouse on last legs

There is growing speculation that one day in the not too distant future; the humble computer mouse will have disappeared into computer history. What on earth we will be using then is anyone’s guess, but we only need to take a look at the developments in games consoles like the Wii and other devices such as the iPhone to get a clue.

But as with many new ideas, there will always be those die hard computer users who will not be seduced by new technology just yet and keep using their mouse for as long as possible or until supplies run out, which of course they will do one day.

A sign of the times is fuelling the death of the computer mouse, perhaps for those of us that simply cannot think of a world without this device, should start stocking up right now for the future. While those users with a nose for nostalgia will probably start stock pilling for times when their value increases.
