Making the most of social networking
Despite many of the warnings, it seems that the majority of businesses are still failing to embrace the social networking scene. The thing is that this could be costing them new business connections and attracting new customers who feel that they are a hip and trendy company.
A lot of companies, who are active in the social networking scene, will do a good job but these are mainly media businesses anyhow, which means that they already have the structure in place to manage a social networking site.
The problem with businesses is that they need to see a return on their investment, but it is hard to gauge where you can draw the financial line as social networking takes time, in its very nature social networking is something that works on its own, through connections etc.
