Apple sues over logo

The problem with using a fruit as your name and logo is that you cannot really copyright a fruit or can you? It would appear that the power of Apple Corp goes well beyond the confines of the technical world as a college in Canada has recently fund out.

The logo of the Victoria School of Business and Technology in Canada is an apple that has been cut in half-length wise, and apart from the initials of the college being on it, the logo is virtually identical to the Apple logo that we know so well.

It is never going to be good PR suing a school, but sometimes a business needs to makes stand to protect its interest. After all Apple do not want people going to the college believing that they are going to an Apple recognised centre.
