White House emails hacked

Despite all of the problems that surround the security of information, it would appear that the White House still has problems with their computer security as the email archives have been hacked several times over the past few months.

As this has been a problem in the past, the US set up the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force in 2007 with the sole responsibility to tackle this sort of problem.

Yet in recent months, the archives have been attacked and the source of this intrusion would seem to be coming from servers based in China.

Naturally the authorities are not going to say that these hackers have actually seen anything important, just that they intrusion was into the archived files, this is has become a common battle between the security services and the hackers.
