Do not tell your friends about songs
To a certain extent, you can understand the music industries take on illegal copying of music, which is then either given or sold on to other music fans. However, in recent times we have seen lawsuits and claims made by the industry representatives on the people that they feel are guilty of sharing music.
Yet nothing can compare to the latest idea that the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has come out with is taking legal action against anyone who simply tells someone that they know about a new song, album or artist.
Has the world gone completely crazy or is this something made up for publicity, no definitely not. The RIAA say, “We are merely exercising our right to defend our intellectual properties from unauthorized peer-to-peer notification of the existence of copyrighted material,” so now you know.
