Consumers buy old PC’s just for the XP
Just when you thought it was safe to admit that you use Vista, something like this comes along to upset the whole thing once more.
It turns out that there is a booming market in second hand and salvaged computers, but why?
The answer is so terribly easy, they do not want the computer, and these old computer buyers are after the operating system, to be more precise Microsoft Windows XP.
Yes, it is the old XP v Vista competition coming up again, according to the experts in the field, it works out cheaper to buy these old used PC running XP, rather than buying a new one with Vista and paying out to downgrade it to XP.
Of course, there may be problems with licenses etc, but it is the chance that you have to take.
