Facebook comes in eighth for population
If the social networking site Facebook were a country, it would be one of the largest countries in the world when it comes to population; with almost a 150 million active users, this makes Facebook larger than the UK, Japan, Russia and Nigeria.
However, it is not stopping there the social networking site is predicting that by the end of the first quarter of the year, they could reach the two hundred million member mark, many of whom use the site every day.
Yet despite these huge numbers of users, Facebook are still waiting to find out how they exploit this in order to make some cash out of their huge numbers, despite having backers with money to throw away, at some point there is going to be a need for a return on their investment.
