Obama is on White House Twitter

The new president may have messed up the swearing in, but one thing that he has done right is the taking over of the White House Twitter account.

This had been used quite a lot during the Bush era, with around fifteen hundred updates being made during that time. These were mainly links to speeches made by the ex president, but it is good to see that they are using this technology.

The Obama Twitter account has been updated with a new avatar and links to the inauguration, no do not including the mix up during the swearing in of the 44th President of the United States of America.

However, there have been many complaints that the actual Twitter account of Barack Obama has not been updated since Election Day.
