IE slips down even more

The world browser market Microsoft’s Internet Explorer has slipped back a little bit more against the other choices available. IE has a 67.55 per cent market share, which is a drop of around seven per cent.

Firefox by Mozilla has 21.53 per cent where three months ago they stood at 20.78 per cent, Apples Safari was standing at 7.13 in November, and this has grown to 8.29 per cent. One of the disappointing browser performances is still Google’s Chrome despite being launched in September their market share is just 1.12 per cent.

Microsoft loss is following a trend, over the past two years, IE has lost almost ten per cent of the browser market, this can be put down to many things but choice would be the best assumption as to why users are switching to other browsers.
