In flight internet flying into trouble

The introduction of in flight internet, is good for business as this opens up a new revenue stream for the airlines, who could really use a lift in these troubled times.

However, the staff of the airlines and in particular the flight crews are foreseeing that there could be trouble ahead as in flight internet becomes more widespread the potential for trouble and other issues increase.

Flight crews are worried that the use of in flight internet services could cause tension between passengers who are already in close contact with each other. There is also the possibility that the internet could be used by terrorists to coordinate attacks.

Clearly, in flight internet is in the early stages, and there will be teething problems, but once this has been accepted as the norm, then like drink, it will just be another service.
