Computers missing from nuclear weapons lab

Over eighty computers belonging to the US nuclear weapons lab at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the state of New Mexico have mysteriously gone missing, according to the watchdog the Project on Government Oversight (POGO).

The concerns are serious enough to worry people, but what is more concerning is the way that these computers have been handled.

It turns out that thirteen laptop computers were lost or stolen during the past year, a further three had been stolen from employee’s homes and finally the most serious of all is that sixty seven computers are just classified as missing.

The Los Alamos facility was set up to work on the first nuclear bombs, but today the top secret work includes, national security, outer space, renewable energy, medicine, nanotechnology, and supercomputing.
