Facebook backtrack on TOS

When an organisation the size the Facebook decide to revise their terms of service, it is never going to go unnoticed, in fact not only did this move attract attention it virtually caused a riot amongst the members.

The problem occurs with the data that members upload to the site; essentially, what Facebook claimed is that all content uploaded to the site belongs to the site thereafter.

Clearly, this is not acceptable to many of the members and the complaints began to roll in at Facebook HQ.

Fortunately they are not stupid and in order to please their many millions of members, the new terms of service have been cancelled and the old terms of service brought back in, for now!
