Google puts the s into search
Making a quick search on Google is simple enough and the average person simply takes it for granted that the results are best that the search engine can come up with, but people who use Google for work and other related searches are not so sure that the results are how they should be.
The common problems associated with a Google search are:
Finding the most recent information
Expressing that you want just one type of result
Assessing which results are best
Knowing what you are looking for
Expressing your searches in keywords
In order to answer these problems, Google are introducing “Search Options” this enables the user to filter the results to suit their needs and requirements. Whether this is going to make searching easier will be down to the point of view of the user.
