Google puts price on results

The French based blog, Zorgloob has discovered what the Google guys see when they do a search. The results returned are as normal except for the slight difference of a dollar value placed at the end of the listing.

The figures are said to be related to Adsense, but these figures also turn up in the so called natural search, which actually could bring into question why? Does the addition of these figures mean that the higher the dollar figures the better search result that they will get? There are so many questions that this throws up and yet there is not much written about it, why is that?

It is clear that Google control search in many different factors and this shows another side of the business that has never been seen before, or has it?
