Generating website traffic

It’s a simple fact that no traffic to your website means no visitors and therefore it stands to reason that no money will be made. After all what is the point of creating a wonderful website if nobody is going to see it?

Paying for traffic can be expensive it all depends on your business, for instance if you are a car dealer, using Google for traffic would be just far too expensive as the keywords are bided on and so the words like car and cars are just not going to be viable.

Free traffic is another matter, yet the quality of this traffic may not be a good as the paid traffic, there are opportunities to target traffic to your site by getting your website into a good position on search engine results and for a small business it does not have to appear at the top because when people search they may not always take the first results given to them.

Getting a good search position depends on links to your site, content and user experience; get all of those right and you’re heading in the right direction.
