Google still number one for webmasters

Despite all of the ups and downs with Google, the most famous search engine in the world is still the number one choice for webmasters; they build, and market their websites with Google in mind, while disregarding the rest of the search engines.

The simple question to ask is why? And the answer is as equally simple, people use Google and while the vast majority of computer users use Google as almost their default search engine, then there is a need to design the websites in way that pleases them.

After all, there is not much point designing a site for search that delivers no traffic, is there? Well Google is way ahead on the tech front which makes them the number one choice for most computer users and therefore in order not to miss out, webmasters too!
