My Space Hacker tells all

Samy Kamkar, is famous for one thing, that is hacking into MySpace and now he is banned from even touching a computer keyboard, for he created “The Samy Worm” which was the first worm in the world to infect a Web 2.0 site.

The worm was not a dangerous or a malicious worm, but it did do enough damage to close down MySpace after he the members were forced to declare that “Samy is a Hero” in their profiles.

But now even after pleading guilty and being banned from electronics for a while, Samy Kamkar is regarded as a hero still and even gets celebrity status at places like the OWASP App Sec 2007 Conference, put on by eBay in San Hose, California. If he plays his cards right, he may be able to login to his MySpace account, if he still has one!
