Google now has “Body Search”

This is one is on the debatable side of search, it is supposed to bring together people in a very strange way, like the “Match my Organ” this needs little explanation expect that it has nothing to do with musical instruments!

On a positive note, there will be 3D images of the human body which relate to different subjects. Obviously there are going to be many users of this site, mainly students and medical people, so are they not limiting themselves to smaller markets here?

The concept is hard to work out why? What do Google have to gain from this? It has been out of Beta for a while and response is pretty good but these have been from invited medical personnel, who would not generally need to use this sort of stuff, after all they are qualified aren’t they?
