The problem with Gmail is:

There is a problem with gmail, and that is you cannot have a gmail account or your account gets cancelled which is causing some people so many problems to the point where they cannot even access their own emails, which could relate to jobs etc.

However this is fortunately an error, I say fortunately because that means that Google are not the all controlling world domineering people that everyone likes to make out.

Having email issues is not the end of the world, and really a primary email should not be the likes of gmail anyway its too unreliable and free, which means some places will not even use it for sign ups etc.
