Spam still dominates email

There was a time when spam as we have come to know it, was only taking up about 5% of all emails, mind you that was back in 2001! Since then the amount of spam has steadily taken giant steps, in 2004 the figure was up to 70% which was when everyone started to moan about it, but since then and despite all of those precautions taken against spam, the figure is today 95%, yes only 5% of all emails are worth reading.

The problem with spam is it is self perpetuating it just keeps growing, emails are sent out and the addresses are passed on, by the worst thing is the criminal element trying to obtain your bank and credit card details through badly worded emails, and the ones that have pdf’s attached, these are dangers of spam, the rest is just litter.
