PSP to get Skype soon

By the end of January all Sony PSP owners will able to talk to each other with the help of Skype the phone service that enables users to talk to each other over the internet at no or reduced costs. There are around 250 million registered users all around the world.

The service will become available through a software patch to the new lite and slim PSP; however this patch will also become available through the handheld itself too.

This will be a great feature to the games console and will possibly compete with the iTouch and other similar devices that offer games and communications all in one bundle.
