Some great web apps

If we listen to the news, then we would think that the internet is made up of just a few popular websites, who have attracted attention from the bigger companies who have been liberal with their cash when buying a stake in these popular sites.

But this is not a true picture of the internet today, there are quite few applications out there that have gone unnoticed by the big players and yet have a good product and many fans.

Here are just a few of these unsung heroes:
