Internet fails in Asia and Middle East
There has been an internet blackout that covers two continents, parts of Asia, Middle East and even parts of North Africa have been crippled, making some business struggle with other means of communications.
Apparently there was damage made to some undersea cables but there is no other information as to how this happened, but it is located in the region between Alexandria, Egypt and Palermo, Italy. The cable is owned by a consortium of over twelve different companies and it is the users of these service providers that are affected.
At the moment where possible the traffic is being rerouted, this will give the engineers a chance to discover exactly where the incident has taken place and what caused it in the first place.
